The Story

The Golden Glow shot distils the essence of Ayurveda's golden milk tradition into a concentrated, on-the-go format. Turmeric, ginger, and carrot — the three main ingredients — have each been used medicinally for thousands of years in Indian, Persian, and Mediterranean traditions. Together, they deliver a synergistic combination of anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and immune-supporting compounds.

Carrot juice was first consumed medicinally in Ancient Persia and Afghanistan around 1,000 CE, where purple and yellow wild carrots were first cultivated. The orange carrot we know today was developed by Dutch farmers in the 17th century. Carrot provides natural sweetness and a rich source of beta-carotene — the antioxidant precursor to vitamin A that the body converts on demand.

At Cappadocia, our Golden Glow combines fresh turmeric, ginger, carrot juice, and orange juice — a vibrant, deeply coloured shot that delivers a gentle heat from the ginger, earthy depth from the turmeric, and natural sweetness from the carrot and orange. It's the most approachable of our wellness shots and a beautiful way to start the day.
